Ramiz Raja Urges Saim Ayub and Azam Khan to Alter Their Approach

Former PCB Chairman Ramiz Raja has expressed reservations about the recent performances of Saim Ayub and Azam Khan in the ongoing T20I series against New Zealand.

While Saim Ayub had an impressive start with a quick 27 runs off 8 balls in the first match, he scored only 1 run in the second T20I. Azam Khan, known for power hitting, made 10 runs in the first match and 2 runs in the second, disappointing fans.

Ramiz Raja, a renowned cricket commentator, cautioned that the approach of relying on a miss-and-hit approach displays mediocrity at many levels. He emphasized the need for more effort, stating that opportunities like these don’t come often.

Pakistan’s batting coach, Adam Hollioake, acknowledged Azam Khan’s potential as a destructive batter and expressed confidence that he would shine in the future despite the recent performances.
