It’s worth noting that March 23rd has already been designated as a public holiday by the Cabinet Division in the list of holidays for the current year.

This means that the residents of Rawalpindi will enjoy four consecutive holidays until Monday, starting from tomorrow. The notification assured that the SSC-I Annual Examination of BISE Rawalpindi will proceed unaffected.

Previously, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) announced the closure of all hiking trails to the public in observance of March 23rd (Parade Day).

In a separate notification, the civic authority informed that trail number 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 will be inaccessible to the public from March 19th to March 23rd, between 5 am to 5 pm, due to Parade preparations.

The CDA has urged the public to adhere to its decision to prevent any inconvenience during these days. Access to these trails will be restored after Parade Day, as per the statement issued by the authority.
