Shadab Khan and Alex Hales Collide in PSL 9

In the ongoing match between Karachi Kings and Islamabad United at the Karachi National Bank Arena, Shadab Khan and Alex Hales collided while attempting to catch Keiron Pollard’s lofted shot straight down the ground on the last ball of the innings.

Despite the collision, both players emerged from the dugout unscathed and appeared to be fine after the innings break.

During their partnership, Kieron Pollard and Irfan Khan Niazi accumulated 76 runs, helping Islamabad United set a total of 165-5. Despite the collision between Shadab Khan and Alex Hales, both managed to run four runs on the last ball, showcasing their relentless running between the wickets.

Kieron Pollard showcased his prowess once again, leading the partnership with Irfan Khan and scoring 48 runs off 28 balls with a strike rate of 171.43. This impressive performance came on a pitch that was extremely slow, making it challenging for batters to play their shots through the line.

With Islamabad United having lost their last three matches, they are in dire need of a win, while Karachi Kings are riding high on confidence with two wins in their opening three games of the campaign.

As the two-time PSL champions aim for victory, they will rely heavily on their skipper Shadab Khan and destructive opening batter Alex Hales to deliver immediately.
