Significant Rise In Gold Prices Observed In Pakistan

Gold prices in Pakistan rose for the third consecutive day on Friday, reflecting the uptrend in global markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs1,100, reaching Rs244,000.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a rise, going up by Rs944 to Rs209,534. This follows Thursday’s increase, where the per tola price rose by Rs857.

Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold remained unchanged at Rs192,072 on Friday.

In the international market, gold prices also showed gains, with the global rate reaching $2,364 per ounce, up by $9 during the trading day, as reported by APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices in the local market remained steady at Rs2,850 per tola, unchanged from previous rates.

Market analysts attribute the rise inprices to several factors, including fluctuations in the international market, currency exchange rates, and overall economic conditions. The ongoing increase in gold prices could impact investment decisions and consumer behavior in the near future.
