Former Pakistan captains Sarfaraz Ahmed and Shoaib Malik headline the Diamond category for the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), set for April-May this year.
Sarfaraz, released by Quetta Gladiators after nine seasons, and Malik, who parted ways with Karachi Kings, are entering the PSL draft for the first time since the league’s inception in 2016.
Other national players in the Diamond category include Mohammad Nawaz, Aamir Jamal, Abbas Afridi, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Ali, and Mohammad Hasnain.

The category also features international stars from Australia, Afghanistan, England, West Indies, and other cricketing nations, offering a mix of emerging and seasoned talent.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has introduced a revised draft system, reducing the number of Platinum, Diamond, Gold, and Silver categories to streamline team selections.
Lahore Qalandars will have the first pick in the Platinum 1 category, followed by Karachi Kings and Quetta Gladiators.
