ICC Delegation Arriving in Pakistan Tonight for Champions Trophy 2025

A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) will arrive tonight to inspect preparations for the 2025 Champions Trophy by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The six-member team will include event organizers and security personnel.

The delegation will visit the National Stadium Karachi to assess arrangements, including reviewing the route from the hotel to the stadium. In the next phase, the ICC team will inspect preparations in Islamabad and Lahore for the event.

Earlier, the PCB allocated Rs 12.80 billion to upgrade the three main venues: Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, National Stadium in Karachi, and Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. These venues will host the Champions Trophy from February 19 to March 9, 2025, with Group A featuring Pakistan, India, New Zealand, and Bangladesh, and Group B including Australia, England, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
