Pakistan’s T20I performance in 2024 hit an all-time low, with the team suffering 16 defeats in 27 matches. This ties Pakistan with Rwanda, which recorded the same number of losses in just 24 games, for the most T20I defeats of the year.

The year has been marked by inconsistent performances, poor team cohesion, and defeats against both top-tier and lower-ranked teams. Pakistan’s win percentage for 2024 stands at just 33.33%, raising concerns about the team’s direction and prompting calls for changes in management and squad selection.
Other teams that struggled in T20Is this year include Bhutan, with 15 losses in 19 matches, and Indonesia, which also recorded 15 defeats in 27 games.
