PCB announces 2024-25 women's central contracts; Nida Dar, Aliya Riaz dropped

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has awarded central contracts to 16 women cricketers for the 2024-25 season, starting July 1, 2024.

Notably, Nida Dar, Aliya Riaz, and Shawaal Zulfiqar are among six players excluded from the contracts but remain available for selection. The PCB aims to focus on emerging talent under the ICC Women’s Future Tours Programme.

Fatima Sana and Muneeba Ali were promoted to Category A, while Sadia Iqbal advanced to Category B. New entrants include Gull Feroza, Rameen Shamim, and debutant Tasmia Rubab.
