PSL Director Sohaib Sheikh and Women’s Cricket Head Tania Mallick Resign from PCB

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the resignations of PSL Director Sohaib Sheikh and Tania Mallick, Head of Women’s Cricket, who are stepping down to pursue new career opportunities.

Sohaib Sheikh returned to the PCB 13 months ago, having previously worked with the organization from 2016 to 2019. During his tenure, he was instrumental in launching the HBL PSL in 2016 and successfully delivered four seasons, including a high-quality event earlier this year.

Tania Mallick, who began her role at Gaddafi Stadium in October 2021, has been dedicated to promoting women’s cricket in Pakistan. Her efforts to expand the player pool at the grassroots level have received recognition, both nationally and internationally, notably through her role as one of the two Full Member representatives on the ICC Women’s Committee.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Salman Naseer expressed gratitude for their contributions, stating, “Sohaib Sheikh and Tania Mallick were key members of the PCB management team, making meaningful contributions to our progress as an organization. The PCB appreciates their hard work, dedication, and contributions, and we wish both Sohaib and Tania every success in their future endeavors.”
