Police Surgeon Dr Summaiya has filed a complaint with the judicial commission investigating the Mir Raza Ali case.
She alleged harassment and a negative campaign against her following the case. She also raised concerns about the handling of her conversation with Dr Osama.
According to her complaint, Dr Summaiya alleged that edited portions of their private conversation were leaked. She said the alleged leak damaged her reputation.
Dr Summaiya claimed that Dr Osama appeared before the commission three times. However, she said he did not submit the complete recording of their conversation.
The police surgeon further alleged that selected portions were shared with certain media outlets. She also said parts were provided to digital platforms.
According to Dr Summaiya, excerpts from a private conversation could create misunderstandings. She expressed concern that selective material could shift attention from the main issue.
She also raised questions about the post-mortem reports in the Mir Raza Ali case. Dr Summaiyya alleged that Dr Osama had accepted the interim report as accurate.
However, she claimed that he was not accepting the final post-mortem report. She said his position raised questions about his conduct.
Dr Summaiya maintained that a previous report becomes secondary after a multi-member board conducts a post-mortem. She said the final findings should therefore be considered in that context.
The police surgeon also disputed Dr Osama’s conclusions regarding the gunshot wounds. She alleged that his conclusions ignored relevant scientific evidence.
Dr Summaiya told the judicial commission that she was willing to provide the complete recording. However, she said this would be done subject to the commission’s permission.
She said reviewing the complete recording could help prevent misunderstandings. It could also reduce the possibility of statements being taken out of context.
The dispute gained attention after an audio recording surfaced in the case. ARY News had obtained the recording involving Dr Summaiya and MLO Dr Osama.
In the audio, Dr Summaiya can allegedly be heard discussing matters related to the report. The conversation reportedly included details about how the report would be handled.
She allegedly told Dr Osama that the report would be copied to the concerned MLO. She also reportedly said the report would carry his name.

The recording also allegedly contains a discussion about preparing the report together. Dr Summaiya reportedly referred to coordinating its wording before release.
She also allegedly mentioned sharing the report with lawyer Jibran Nasir. These statements have added further attention to the ongoing case.
Dr Summaiya has now asked the judicial commission to consider the complete recording. She believes the full context would provide a clearer understanding of the discussion.
The complaint has placed the issue of the private conversation before the judicial commission. The commission is investigating the wider circumstances surrounding the Mir Raza Ali case.
