In a major achievement for Pakistan cricket, Shaheen Afridi has reclaimed the top spot in the ICC Men’s ODI Bowler Rankings, becoming the No.1 ranked bowler just months ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
Afridi’s ascent to the top follows his brilliant performances against Australia, where he took eight wickets at an impressive average of 12.62 in three matches. This performance saw him overtake South African spinner Keshav Maharaj, who dropped to third, while Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan maintained his position in second.
