In the second match of the Champions One-Day Cup at Iqbal Stadium in Faisalabad on Friday, the Stallions defeated the Lions by 133 runs.
The Lions, chasing a target of 337, were all out for 203, with Imam-ul-Haq scoring a valiant 78 off 83 balls as the main resistance.

Earlier, the Stallions set a formidable total of 336 runs thanks to solid performances from Babar Azam, Tayyab Tahir, Mohammad Haris, and Hussain Talat. Shan Masood and Yasir Khan started well with a 35-run partnership, and Babar Azam and Tayyab Tahir added 74 runs each in a crucial stand.
Mohammad Haris and Hussain Talat also contributed fifties, and Jahandad Khan’s unbeaten 20 helped the Stallions reach their total.
The Lions struggled from the start, with opener Sajjad Ali Hashim dismissed for a duck and Abdullah Shafique and Omair bin Yousuf failing to make significant runs. Sharoon Siraj added 28, and Aamer Yamin scored 22, but it was insufficient.
Haris Rauf played a key role, taking important wickets including those of skipper Shaheen Afridi and Sirajuddin, leading to a convincing win for the Stallions.
