The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not yet made a decision on whether to send the Indian cricket team to Pakistan for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, according to Secretary Jay Shah.
The ICC has awarded hosting rights for the 2025 Champions Trophy to Pakistan, a significant event in the country’s cricket schedule. The tournament will feature eight teams, with their qualification based on performances in the 2023 ODI World Cup held in India.

India is in Group A with Pakistan, Bangladesh, and New Zealand, while Group B consists of Australia, England, South Africa, and Afghanistan. Shah commented, “No stand as of now. We will cross the bridge when it comes,” as reported by the Times of India.
The 2025 Champions Trophy will be the ninth edition of the tournament, with the last edition in 2017 seeing Pakistan win their first title by defeating India in the final. The teams have not played a bilateral series recently due to strained relations, with India last touring Pakistan in 2008 and Pakistan last visiting India in 2012-13.
