LAHORE: Mohammad Haris delivered a sensational performance at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday night, smashing a record-breaking century to lead Pakistan to a clean sweep over Bangladesh in the final T20I.
Chasing 197, the explosive wicketkeeper-batter hammered an unbeaten 107 off just 46 balls, featuring 8 fours and 7 sixes at a staggering strike rate of 232.60. His dominant knock not only sealed the 3-0 series win but also earned him Player of the Match and Player of the Series honors.
Haris made history by becoming Pakistan’s second-fastest centurion in T20I history, reaching his ton in just 45 balls, overtaking Babar Azam’s 49-ball century from 2021 and Ahmed Shehzad’s 58-ball effort from 2014.

Pakistan had a shaky start, losing opener Sahibzada Farhan for just 1 run, but Haris and Saim Ayub turned the game around with a 92-run stand. Saim chipped in with 45 off 29 balls before falling to Tanzim Hasan Sakib.
Haris continued the assault, reaching his half-century swiftly and racing to a century in the 17th over. Hasan Nawaz also contributed with a fiery 26 off 13. Pakistan chased the target down with 16 balls remaining, as skipper Salman Ali Agha supported with an unbeaten 15.
Earlier, Bangladesh posted a competitive 196-6, thanks to a blazing 110-run opening stand between Tanzid Hasan (42 off 32) and Parvez Hossain Emon (66 off 34). Pakistan’s bowlers fought back well in the second half—Hasan Ali and Abbas Afridi picked up two wickets each, while Shadab Khan and Faheem Ashraf took one apiece.
