New Zealand’s commanding performance in their ongoing T20I series against Pakistan has significantly boosted the rankings of several Black Caps players in the latest ICC Men’s T20I player standings.
With a 2-0 lead in the five-match series, New Zealand’s explosive top order and clinical bowling have been instrumental. Tim Seifert and Finn Allen, who provided fast starts in both games, have made notable gains. Seifert, after scores of 44 and 45, leaps 20 spots to joint 13th in the T20I batting rankings, while Allen climbs eight places to 18th following unbeaten innings of 29* and 38.
While Australia’s Travis Head remains the top-ranked T20I batter, India’s Abhishek Sharma and England’s Phil Salt continue to follow closely. On the Pakistan side, Babar Azam dropped to No. 8 after being excluded from the T20I-leg of the New Zealand tour.
