Pakistan Secures 12 Gold, 4 Silver Medals at 7th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship

Pakistan delivered an impressive performance at the 7th Heroes International Taekwondo Championship 2025, winning 12 gold and 4 silver medals. The event showcased top athletes from across the world, and Pakistan’s team stood out with remarkable achievements.

Mian Ghufran Ali was among the star performers, securing two gold and two silver medals. From Lahore, Tayyaba Ashraf won three gold medals, while Sanbal Khan claimed two gold and one silver medal. In the 90 kg fight category, Hafiz Nasir Bashir from Faisalabad brought home the gold medal.

Another standout, Nabeel Khalid from Lahore, earned two gold and one silver medal. Shahroz Arshad also added to Pakistan’s tally with a gold medal in the 80-plus kg fight category.

The Pakistani team’s participation in the International Taekwondo Championship was self-funded. Despite limited resources, the athletes showed determination, skill, and discipline, securing their place among the top contenders.

Held in Malaysia, the championship attracted more than 1,500 athletes from over 35 countries. The competition brought together some of the best Taekwondo talent in the world, making Pakistan’s achievement even more significant.
