In an exciting development for Pakistan’s sports scene, the country is set to host the Under-23 World Squash Championship in 2025. The announcement was made at a pre-launch ceremony held in Karachi, attended by prominent officials and sports administrators. The event marks Pakistan’s return to hosting major international squash tournaments after a significant hiatus.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, present as the chief guest, affirmed the provincial government’s full backing for the championship. “The Sindh government will continue its tradition of providing comprehensive support for sporting events,” Shah said, signaling the government’s commitment to ensuring the tournament’s success.
