PCB Announces Pakistan Squad for ICC Women's World Cup Qualifier

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has unveiled its 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, set to take place from April 9 to 19 in Lahore. Leading the team will be fast-bowling all-rounder Fatima Sana, who has previously captained Pakistan in six T20Is and two ODIs. The squad also marks the return of opener Shawaal Zulfiqar, who is back after recovering from a shoulder injury that sidelined her since December 2023.

The players were selected after demonstrating fitness and form during a 10-day training camp that concludes on March 30. The qualifiers, hosted in Pakistan, will be played at Gaddafi Stadium and Lahore Cricket Club Association (LCCA) Ground, with teams from across the globe competing for spots in the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
