Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced that the postponed matches of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 will resume from May 17 to May 25, following a temporary suspension due to recent regional tensions. The remaining eight matches will be played in Lahore and Karachi under tight security.
Naqvi made the announcement on social media, mixing sports with subtle political commentary. “The league is starting again from where it stopped — 6 teams, 0 fear,” he posted on X (formerly Twitter), alluding to Pakistan’s claim of downing six Indian aircraft earlier this month.

The PSL had been halted amid security concerns after military clashes between Pakistan and India escalated. According to Pakistan’s military, multiple Indian aircraft, including Rafale and Sukhoi jets, were shot down after an alleged airspace violation. India has not officially responded to these claims.
Despite the backdrop of regional strain, Naqvi said the spirit of cricket must continue. “We are once again going to celebrate the spirit of cricket,” he said, extending best wishes to teams and fans who had been waiting eagerly for the league’s return.
