Pakistan’s vice-captain Saud Shakeel has expressed optimism about the pitch conditions for the upcoming third Test against England in Rawalpindi. Shakeel is hopeful the pitch will mirror the one in Multan, which offered favorable conditions for spinners.

He mentioned that efforts are being made to prepare a spinner-friendly surface, with Nauman Ali’s experience expected to play a key role. “The pitch is being worked on, and heaters are being used to ensure optimal conditions,” Shakeel said.
He also stressed the importance of tailoring pitches series by series to maximize home advantage. “Winning is essential, and the morale of the Pakistan cricket team is high,” he added.
The crucial third Test between Pakistan and England begins on Thursday, with the series currently tied 1-1.
