The much-anticipated rematch between Ilia Topuria and Alexander Volkanovski is scheduled for UFC 314, set to take place on April 12, 2025, at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Rising UFC star Bo Nickal confirmed the news on his YouTube channel, hinting that he might also compete on the same card.

Topuria, who dethroned Volkanovski with a second-round knockout at UFC 298 in February 2024, has since solidified his status as the featherweight champion. The Georgian-Spaniard, known for his aggressive style, defended his title successfully in October with another knockout victory over former champion Max Holloway.
Volkanovski, after losing to both Topuria and lightweight champion Islam Makhachev in 2024, took time off from the sport. Now 36, the Australian is aiming for a comeback to reclaim his featherweight title. However, Nickal believes Topuria’s dominance makes him the clear favorite in the rematch.
The bout could redefine the future of the featherweight division, with Topuria also eyeing a potential fight against Makhachev in the near future. Fans are eagerly awaiting this showdown at UFC 314.
