The ICC has announced a record-breaking prize pool of USD $5.76 million for the 2023-25 World Test Championship Final between South Africa and Australia, set to take place at Lord’s on June 11, 2025. This amount is more than double the prize money awarded in previous editions. The champions will take home USD $3.6 million, while the runners-up will receive USD $2.16 million.
South Africa secured their spot in the final after strong performances against Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and a drawn series against India. Australia earned their place by defeating India 3-1 in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy and achieving series wins against Pakistan, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka.
