Students to Get Free Entry for Pakistan vs Bangladesh Test Series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board has announced free stadium entry for students and cricket academy trainees during the upcoming Test Series against the Pakistan national cricket team. The move aims to attract young fans to the longest format of cricket.

The board said this special step is designed to increase interest in red-ball cricket. Officials believe the Test Series will give young fans a chance to watch high-level cricket live from the stadium.

According to the BCB, school and college students can enter free of cost. However, they must wear their official uniforms. They also need to carry valid identification cards for entry into the designated stands and galleries.

The cricket board said this initiative will help build stronger interest in Test cricket among the younger generation. The BCB added that the Test Series is an ideal opportunity for students to experience the game closely.

The free-entry offer also applies to trainees under 15 years of age. These trainees must be enrolled in private cricket academies. To get free entry, they must wear their official academy kits while attending the matches.

The BCB said the plan is focused on encouraging young cricket enthusiasts. The board hopes more children and students will come to the stadium and support their teams. Officials believe live exposure to Test cricket can inspire future players.

The upcoming Test Series between Bangladesh and Pakistan is part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025โ€“2027 cycle. The matches are important for both teams in the championship standings.

The first Test match will begin on May 8 and continue until May 12. It will be played at Shere-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium.

The second Test will be held from May 16 to May 20 in Sylhet. Both teams will look to start their campaign strongly in the new World Test Championship cycle.
