Kamran Akmal has agreed to train his younger brother, Umar Akmal, in order to develop his hard-hitting talents and prepare him for the national team.
The former cricketer can be seen training his brother during a strenuous practise session at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore in a brief video that went popular on social media sites.
Kamran Akmal is also seen coaching Umar through a series of hard-hitting drills and refining his batting technique.

Kamran asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) earlier this year to put Umar Akmal in the white-ball squad for the forthcoming season, which includes the World Cup in 2023.
“The mentality of our team members, especially Umar Akmal, is focused on playing for Pakistan, whether they bat from the first delivery or chase down a target,” Kamran explained.
Last month, Kamran encouraged Babar Azam, the all-format captain, to put personal agendas aside and select Umar Akmal, noting that selection should not be dependent on personal preferences.
