Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has granted No-Objection Certificates (NOCs) to ten national cricketers for the upcoming Bangladesh Premier League (BPL). The decision allows several experienced and emerging players to participate in the tournament, which will begin later this month.
According to the official update, Nawaz among other nine Pakistani players issued NOCs for BPL includes names such as Mohammad Haris, Usman Qadir, Aamer Jamal, Salman Ali Agha, and Iftikhar Ahmed. This group also features pacers Shahnawaz Dahani and Mohammad Wasim Jr, who have previously played in international franchise leagues.
The PCB clarified that the NOCs were issued after reviewing the playersโ commitments with the national team. The board noted that these players are not part of the current squad preparing for upcoming international assignments. Their participation in the league does not affect Pakistanโs schedule, which allowed the PCB to approve the requests.
The announcement highlighted that Nawaz among other nine Pakistani players issued NOCs for BPL will boost the playersโ experience in foreign leagues. The board believes such opportunities help cricketers improve skills, adapt to different conditions, and gain confidence before returning to national duty.
The Bangladesh Premier League is one of the most popular T20 leagues in Asia. Teams in the tournament often include major international stars. Pakistani players have historically performed well in the league, and their inclusion this season is expected to add more competitive value.
The PCB also reminded players that national duty remains the top priority. If any player is required for international series or training camps, they must return immediately.
With Nawaz among other nine Pakistani players issued NOCs for BPL, Pakistanโs representation in the tournament is confirmed. Fans will be watching closely to see how these players perform and what impact they make on their respective teams. The BPL will start soon, and squads are already finalizing preparations for the new edition.
