The control of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) affairs has been shifted from the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination to the Cabinet Division by the outgoing government.

With this change, the cricket governing body will now operate directly under the Prime Minister’s Office. The move comes amid conflicts between the PCB and the Ministry of Inter-Provincial Coordination.
The notification transferring the administrative control stated that the PCB stands transferred to the Cabinet Division. The PCB remains an autonomous body, operating under its constitution and generating funds from its own resources.
