Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha made the announcement in Dubai after the final. He criticized Indiaβs conduct in the tournament and stressed the importance of sending a positive message to young fans.
βIf a kid is watching in India or Pakistan, we are not sending them a good message,β Agha said. He added that supporting victims was a priority.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) also released a statement supporting the donation. They offered thoughts and prayers for the affected families and praised the playersβ humanitarian gesture.

In a similar gesture, Indian captain Suryakumar Yadav donated his Asia Cup final match fees to Indian armed forces and families affected by the Pahalgam terror attack.
