LAHORE — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has temporarily suspended all preparations for the national team’s participation in the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi confirmed that the team management has been informed to await further instructions.

The T20 World Cup 2026 is scheduled to begin on February 7, with the opening match featuring Pakistan against the Netherlands. The tournament promises to be a major event in the cricketing calendar, attracting top teams from around the world.
