Pakistan’s Full ICC T20 World Cup 2026 Schedule Announced

Pakistan will start their campaign in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) Cricket Ground in Colombo on 7 February against the Netherlands. The 2009 champions are placed in Group A alongside Namibia, Netherlands, India, and the United States.

Pakistan’s second group match will be against the USA on 10 February at SSC, followed by a high-profile clash against India at the R Premadasa Stadium on 15 February. Their final group game will be against Namibia at SSC on 18 February.

The group stage of the ICC T20 World Cup will run from 7 to 20 February, with the top two teams from each group advancing to the Super Eight stage. In this stage, each team will play three fixtures against other qualifying teams to secure a place in the semi-finals on 4 and 5 March.

The Super Eight matches will be held in Colombo and Pallekele. If Pakistan qualify, their semi-final on 4 March will take place in Colombo, while the 5 March semi-final is scheduled for Mumbai. The final of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 will also be held in Colombo on 8 March.

Pakistan fans will closely watch the opening game against the Netherlands, as the team looks to start strongly in the tournament. The clash with India on 15 February is expected to draw significant attention, given the historic rivalry between the two sides.

With strong contenders like India, USA, Namibia, and Netherlands in Group A, Pakistan faces a challenging path to the Super Eight stage. Analysts suggest that team strategy and performance in these initial matches will be crucial for advancing to the knockout rounds.
