Pakistan Men’s Cricket Team To Tour Bangladesh For ODI Series

The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has confirmed that the Pakistan men’s cricket team will tour Bangladesh for a three-match ODI series. The announcement came on Friday ahead of the upcoming series in March 2026.

Pakistan is scheduled to arrive in Bangladesh on Monday, 9 March. The team will hold a training session on Tuesday, 10 March, preparing for the opening ODI at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Dhaka on Wednesday, 11 March.

The second ODI will be played on Friday, 13 March, and the third and final match is set for Sunday, 15 March. All three ODIs will take place at the same venue in Dhaka, providing fans with an exciting week of international cricket.

This series marks Pakistan’s second tour of Bangladesh since July 2025. Their previous visit was for a three-match T20I series, in which Bangladesh emerged victorious 2-1. Earlier, Bangladesh toured Pakistan in May/June 2025, but Salman Ali Agha’s side secured a 3-0 clean sweep in the T20I series.

Officials from both boards said the upcoming ODI series will give players an opportunity to gain experience in subcontinental conditions. Pakistan will look to bounce back after their previous T20I loss in Bangladesh and aim to strengthen their ODI rankings.

The Pakistan cricket team’s schedule for the tour is as follows:

  • March 9: Pakistan arrival in Dhaka
  • March 10: Practice session
  • March 11: First ODI at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium
  • March 13: Second ODI at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium
  • March 15: Third ODI at Shere Bangla National Cricket Stadium

Cricket fans in Bangladesh and Pakistan are eagerly anticipating the matches. Analysts predict competitive cricket, with both teams fielding strong lineups. The Pakistan team’s tour Bangladesh will not only test their skills but also provide valuable preparation ahead of upcoming ICC events.

The BCB emphasized that security and arrangements for visiting teams have been finalized. The Pakistan cricket board also confirmed its commitment to a smooth and well-organized tour Bangladesh, highlighting the importance of bilateral cricket ties between the two nations.

This ODI series is expected to boost fan engagement and further strengthen cricketing relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
