Pakistan Win Toss And Choose To Field in Second Test Against Bangladesh

Pakistan began the second Test against Bangladesh with a positive decision at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium on Saturday. Shan Masood won the toss and elected to field first in an important match for the visitors.

The decision comes as Pakistan aim to level the two-match series after losing the opening Test. Fans are hoping for a strong comeback and a possible Pakistan win in Sylhet.

Pakistan made three changes to the playing XI for the second Test. Star batter Babar Azam returned to the team after recovering from injury. He replaced Imam-ul-Haq in the lineup.

The bowling attack also saw important changes. Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi and spinner Noman Ali were left out of the squad. Khurram Shahzad and Sajid Khan were included instead.

Team management believes the new combination can improve Pakistanโ€™s performance. The visitors are under pressure after Bangladesh secured a 104-run victory in the first Test in Dhaka.

In the previous match, Pakistan struggled while chasing a target of 268 runs. Despite resistance from debutant Abdullah Fazal, the team could not avoid defeat. His fighting half-century was one of the few positives for Pakistan.

Bangladesh currently lead the series 1-0. Another victory would give the hosts a series win. However, Pakistan are determined to respond strongly and keep the series alive.

Supporters are expecting experienced players to play a major role in a possible Pakistan win. Babar Azamโ€™s return is seen as a major boost for the batting lineup. Captain Shan Masood will also be looking for a better team performance.

Pakistanโ€™s playing XI includes Azan Awais, Shan Masood, Babar Azam, Abdullah Fazal, Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Ali Agha, Khurram Shahzad, Sajid Khan, Hassan Ali, and Muhammad Abbas.

Bangladesh fielded Mahmudul Hasan Joy, Tanzid Hasan, Najmul Hossain Shanto, Mominul Haque, Mushfiqur Rahim, Litton Das, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Taskin Ahmed, Shoriful Islam, and Nahid Rana.

Cricket analysts believe early wickets could improve Pakistanโ€™s chances in the match. A strong bowling display may create momentum for a Pakistan win and help the team bounce back in the series.
