PCB Chief Responds to Indian Anthem Controversy in Lahore

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has broken his silence on the recent controversy surrounding the Indian national anthem being played before the Australia vs England match at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium.

Naqvi stated that the ICC is investigating the incident, as it was responsible for organizing the tournament. He emphasized that Pakistan had extended goodwill by releasing 22 Indian fishermen and questioned how India would react if a similar incident occurred.

Meanwhile, Naqvi visited Dubai Stadium ahead of the Pakistan-India clash, observing the team’s practice session and expressing confidence in their victory. He reassured the players that regardless of the outcome, the PCB stands firmly with them.
