In a landmark development for international cricket, the PCB has signed a historic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Italian Cricket Federation (FCRI). The agreement follows Italy’s qualification for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, marking a new chapter in cricket cooperation between the two nations.
The MoU was formally signed by PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmad Syed and FCRI President Maria Lorena Haz Paz. The partnership aims to promote the growth of both men’s and women’s cricket in Italy, helping the country build stronger structures to compete at the international level.

FCRI President Maria Lorena Haz Paz welcomed the collaboration, noting that it aligns with Italy’s long-term strategy to improve cricket standards and foster international partnerships.

Officials from both boards emphasized that the collaboration will benefit players, coaches, and fans alike.
