The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced that the final eight matches of the HBL Pakistan Super League X will be relocated to the United Arab Emirates. Originally set to be held in Rawalpindi, Multan, and Lahore, the tournament’s concluding phase will now take place at venues in the UAE, with a revised schedule to be shared soon.
PCB Chair Mohsin Naqvi cited security concerns following a recent incident targeting Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, which he described as an “extremely irresponsible and dangerous Indian act” aimed at disrupting the league. Naqvi emphasized that the safety and mental well-being of both domestic and international players were paramount in making this decision.

“As a responsible organisation, safeguarding our players and ensuring the continuity of the tournament was our top priority,” Naqvi stated. He reaffirmed the PCB’s commitment to successfully completing the league despite the challenges.
The board urged all stakeholders to support its efforts as it works to stage the remaining matches — including key eliminators and the final — in the UAE.
