Ronaldo

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace as Al-Nassr thrashed Al-Riyadh 5-1. The win reaffirmed Al-Nassr’s early dominance in the Saudi Pro League.

Al-Nassr opened the scoring in just six minutes. Joao Felix tapped in after Kingsley Coman’s excellent wing play. Before half-time, Coman added a second goal himself. Ronaldo then struck to make it 3-0.

Early in the second half, Felix grabbed another. Al-Riyadh briefly responded with a goal by Mamadou Sylla. But Ronaldo sealed the result in the 78th minute with his second of the match.

This result kept Al-Nassr perfect with nine points from their first three matches. They lead the table on goal difference. Their attacking play and goal scoring look strong.

Ronaldo’s brace underlines his importance up front. He now has multiple goals in this league campaign. He is also creating space and chances for teammates.

Joao Felix and Kingsley Coman also impressed. Their speed and creativity stretched Al-Riyadh’s defence. Felix scored and assisted. Coman was key in setting up goals.

Al-Riyadh showed moments of fight. Their goal gave brief hope. But they could not stop Al-Nassr’s forward wave. The visitors’ defence looked stretched and exposed.

The home crowd was pleased with the performance. Al-Nassr’s scoring power is sending a warning to other title challengers. If they keep this form, few teams can catch them.

The win also adds confidence ahead of tougher fixtures. Ronaldo, his teammates, and the coaching staff will want to maintain consistency. The goal difference could prove important at season end.
