The Sindh government has announced an ambitious plan to organize more than 22 Sindh Sports Events across the province, starting from the last week of October and continuing till June 2026.
The decision was made during a key meeting chaired by Sindh Minister for Sports and Youth Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Bux Mahar. The meeting was attended by Sports Secretary Munawar Ali Mahesar, Chief Engineer Aslam Mahar, and officials of the Sindh Olympic Association, including Ahmed Ali Rajput, Asghar Baloch, and Ali Dino Gopang.
The officials reviewed the preparations for the 35th National Games, the Sindh Games 2026, and other major Sindh Sports Events such as the Thar Jeep Rally.
Speaking after the meeting, Sardar Mahar said that for the first time, the Sindh government would organize the Sindh E-Sports Championship in Karachi next month, featuring gamers from across Pakistan.
Under the theme βHoslay Kamal Keβ (Spirit of Excellence), the Sindh Special Games will be held in November. The event will highlight the talent and determination of athletes with disabilities from all over Sindh.
Karachi will also host the Youth Science and Technology Expo 2025 in November, while Taekwondo, Karate, and Table Tennis tournaments are scheduled in Karachiβs South district later this month.
Thatta will organize a two-day Kohistan Bull Cart Race in November, and the Futsal Championship titled βJazba Junoonβ will kick off in early November in Karachi.
The 19th Sindh Games 2026 and Thar Jeep Rally will take place in Ghotki in January. The Youth Science and Technology Festival will bring together students, innovators, and experts from various institutions.
Sardar Mahar emphasized that providing young people with opportunities for growth and positive engagement through Sindh Sports Events remains a top priority of the government.
