Pakistan Officially Knocked Out Of T20 World Cup 2024

The Pakistan team has been eliminated from the T20 World Cup after the USA vs. Ireland match in Lauderhill, Florida was abandoned due to rain.

Despite the excitement, the uncooperative weather has ultimately determined the outcome, with both teams settling for a point each, leading to Pakistan’s official exit from the tournament.

The match, which was crucial for Pakistan’s qualification hopes, was called off due to rain and a wet outfield.

Pakistan’s upcoming match against Ireland will be inconsequential if it proceeds at all, as rain is also forecasted in Florida on June 16.

Babar Azam’s team lost to the USA in a Super Over and was defeated by arch-rivals India by 6 runs at the Nassau Cricket Stadium in their second Group A match.

However, Pakistan managed to secure their first two points by defeating Canada by 7 wickets, chasing a target of 107 runs in 17.4 overs in the T20 World Cup. Despite this, Pakistan’s chances remain slim.
