ISLAMABAD – Air Link Communication, one of Pakistan’s top smartphone manufacturers and assemblers, has announced plans to open the country’s first-ever Apple retail store by the end of 2025. The development marks a major milestone in Pakistan’s technology and retail sectors.
The announcement was made during Air Link’s corporate briefing earlier this week, as reported by Topline Securities. The company revealed that the Apple retail store will bring official Apple products directly to Pakistani consumers, offering them the same global-standard shopping experience found in major cities around the world.
In addition to the Apple store, Air Link plans to open a Xiaomi retail outlet at Dolmen Mall in Lahore, expanding its retail network across Pakistan. This move follows the company’s partnership with GNEXT Technologies — Apple’s authorized distributor in Pakistan — to enhance the availability and accessibility of Apple products in the local market.
According to company officials, the upcoming Apple retail store will showcase the full range of Apple devices, including iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, Apple Watches, and accessories. The goal is to provide Pakistani customers with a premium, authentic retail experience, complete with certified after-sales services and official warranties.
Air Link’s management said this expansion reflects their broader strategy to strengthen their retail presence and introduce more international tech brands to Pakistan. They also emphasized that this initiative aligns with the growing demand for premium gadgets among Pakistani consumers.
In addition to Apple’s entry, Air Link also announced that its first batch of 10,000 Acer laptops will arrive in Pakistan by November 2025. The laptops are part of a pilot project, and if successful, the company plans to begin local manufacturing of Acer devices in the near future.
