SLAMABAD: Millions of mobile users in Pakistan will now pay more for their call and data bundles. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has updated tariff information, showing higher prices for several packages offered by Jazz, Zong, Ufone, and Telenor.
The revised details are available on the PTA’s official website. The regulator has updated the pricing of the top 15 hybrid and data-only bundles offered by the country’s four major telecom operators. The latest information shows that some packages have recorded annual price increases of up to 33 percent.

PTA said 15-day hybrid bundles have become up to Rs300 more expensive. Weekly hybrid packages now cost up to Rs130 more. Three-day bundles have increased by up to Rs21, while two-day packages have gone up by as much as Rs20. One-day hybrid bundles have also recorded a price increase of up to Rs5.
The telecom regulator said it has improved the Consumer Awareness section on its official website. The updated portal now offers a clearer and more user-friendly display of tariff trends for the most popular hybrid and data-only packages.
According to PTA, the new tariff sheets include detailed information about package prices, quarterly price trends, annual percentage increases, package validity, and the incentives provided by each telecom operator. This information allows consumers to compare available offers more easily.
