Dubai has officially entered the future of urban travel by completing its first successful test flight of an air taxi, developed by U.S.-based Joby Aviation. The breakthrough is part of the city’s ambitious plan to launch full air taxi services by 2026.
Conducted in collaboration with Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), the flight marks a major leap in smart transportation. Crown Prince Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum hailed the event as a transformative move that will reshape sustainable mobility and improve daily life in the city.
