Apple has officially launched the iPhone 16e, a new addition to its lineup, priced at $599—$170 more than the previous iPhone SE. Unlike past SE models, the 16e features a fresh design with a 6.1-inch screen, Ceramic Shield protection, and a matte finish in black and white.

Key upgrades include a 48MP rear camera, offering 2x optical zoom via in-sensor cropping, a 12MP front camera, and Apple’s new A18 processor. It also introduces the Action Button but lacks Camera Control.
With up to 26 hours of video playback, the iPhone 16e surpasses the iPhone 16 in battery life. Pre-orders begin on February 21, with the official launch on February 28.
