Previously limited to select Android phones, Starlink’s satellite messaging service is now available to iPhones. This service allows users to send text messages in regions lacking traditional cell coverage. Initially, only beta testers can access this feature, with future updates planned to include voice and data services.

To access these new features, iPhone users need to install the iOS 18.3 update. This marks a major leap in satellite-powered communication for iPhones, with further enhancements expected in upcoming updates.
