This long-awaited update brings WhatsApp Web in line with its mobile and desktop counterparts. Users will need to allow access to their microphone and camera to use the feature, which aims to improve flexibility for those working remotely or using WhatsApp at work.
The feature is still in development, but its beta appearance suggests a public rollout isn’t far off.
