Quetta police apprehended Khadijah Shah, a prominent fashion designer and social media activist, following allegations of murder and attempted murder. This action transpired after the caretaker Punjab government revoked her detention order on Monday.
Khadijah was taken into custody by Quetta police on Monday afternoon, where she received a two-day transit detention sanctioned by the anti-terrorism court.

The police pursued transit remand from the ATC, citing a murder and attempted murder case filed against Shah at the Bijli Road police station in Quetta.
In response to the police’s application, the ATC of Quetta issued a warrant for the suspect’s detention, stipulating her appearance before the appropriate court within a two-day period.
Earlier on Monday, the Punjab administration annulled the initial detention decision, leading to Khadijah Shah’s subsequent apprehension by Quetta police on serious charges related to the alleged crimes.
