A representative for the Foreign Office said they had information indicating that eight Pakistani nationals had died and six others had been injured in the incident when they were questioned by the media about the deaths in the hotel.

The representative also mentioned that their Jeddah Mission was collaborating with regional authorities to offer assistance to people who were impacted and their families. According to early accounts, the hotel on Ibrahim Khalil Road’s third floor may have been the fire’s starting point.

Riaz Gujjar, his wife, his maternal grandpa, his father-in-law, and Haji Ashraf, in addition to his wife and mother-in-law, have all been named as some of the lately deceased. Apparently, they were from Kasur in Punjab.

At the time of the tragedy, the hotel was housing Umrah pilgrims from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and other nations.
