“We are extremely happy for Aamir and Gauri because she is a wonderful person, and we sincerely hope they remain happy together forever,” she stated in an interview with Times Applaud Trends.

Aamir, who celebrated his 60th birthday earlier this month, had officially acknowledged his relationship with Gauri Spratt during a press conference on the eve of his birthday. He revealed that although they have been together for a year and a half, their connection dates back 25 years. Gauri, who is based in Bengaluru, is currently working under Aamir’s production company.

Meanwhile, L2: Empuraan director Prithviraj Sukumaran shared an interesting revelation about casting Nikhat in the film. He admitted that he had no idea she was Aamir Khan’s sister when he selected her for the role.

“I wasn’t aware that she was Aamir sir’s sister. When I reviewed the audition tapes, I told my casting director Priyatama, ‘I want her in the film.’ She responded, ‘Yes, she’s amazing. By the way, she’s also Aamir sir’s sister.’ That completely surprised me,” Prithviraj recalled.

He further shared that after learning about her role, Aamir had reached out to him, inquiring about her performance. “Is my sister good in the film?” Aamir had asked. Prithviraj responded enthusiastically, saying, “Sir, she’s much more than just good.”

The highly anticipated trailer for L2: Empuraan, the sequel to Lucifer, was unveiled on March 20, with the film set to hit theaters on March 27.
