A couple from Karachi’s Baldia Town has become parents to five newborns, born prematurely in a local private hospital. The quintuplets—three girls and two boys—arrived weeks earlier than expected and were delivered via emergency C-section.
The babies, who are severely underweight, faced breathing difficulties immediately after birth. Due to their premature birth, the infants require intensive medical care. Speaking to Samaa TV, the father, Adnan Sheikh, expressed his gratitude and concern. “I got married just a year ago, and this is our first childbirth. While we are grateful for this blessing, the hospital expenses are beyond our reach,” he said. Adnan is now appealing to the public and authorities for financial assistance to help cover the mounting medical bills.
The situation is challenging for the family, as they never anticipated such a significant event. “I never imagined Allah would bless us with five children at once. I just want them to survive and grow strong,” Adnan added, visibly overwhelmed with both joy and worry.
