Throughout her career, she faced industry suggestions to remove a distinctive mole on her face, but she chose to embrace her natural appearance, which set her apart from her peers.
In early 2025, the actress married Muhammad Rashid, a businessman from Mianwali, Punjab, who currently resides in Dubai. Rashid owns a thriving travel and tourism business alongside multiple restaurants.
After her marriage, Neelam’s social media posts indicated a growing religious inclination, leading to speculation that she had stepped away from acting. Addressing these rumors, she took to Instagram to set the record straight.
“There have been numerous rumors about me, so I felt it was best to clarify things myself,” she shared in an Instagram story. “Yes, I am married, but I have not left the entertainment industry. Acting is my passion, and one doesn’t just abandon their passion. May Allah bless you all.”
Her statement received mixed reactions—many fans were relieved, while others criticized her decision. One user commented, “Following your passion isn’t as important as resisting desires. You should understand the difference between halal and haram.”
Despite the differing opinions, Neelam remains resolute in her choice, assuring her fans that she will continue her journey in the entertainment industry.
