Pakistani TikTok personality Samiya Hijab has addressed ongoing rumors about her personal life, sharing new revelations about threats she recently faced.
According to her statement, the influencer filed a case after receiving kidnapping and death threats from a man later identified as her former fiancé, Hassan Zaid.
In a video message, she confirmed that the person attempting to harass and abduct her was her ex-fiancé, with whom she had once been engaged.
Samiya Hijab explained that she ended her engagement after discovering troubling details about Hassan. She rejected claims that she took financial benefits from him, clarifying that recent videos showing her with gifts were being misrepresented online.
The TikTok star stressed that had she been harmed like her late friend Sana Yousuf, public reaction might have been more sympathetic. Instead, because she survived, she is now facing accusations and harsh criticism on social media.
She emphasized that every woman, regardless of past relationships, has the right to safety and dignity. “No man has the right to forcibly take or harm a woman,” Samiya said, highlighting the importance of women’s security in society.
Earlier, she also shared a clip in which Hassan allegedly snatched her phone, pushed her, and attempted to abduct her. She described the emotional stress caused by the ordeal and urged authorities to ensure justice.
Samiya Hijab appealed to the public not to judge without knowing the full story. She said her focus remains on seeking justice and raising awareness about women’s right to live free from fear.
