Inconsistency Undermining U.S. Credibility on World Stage
International mediator Faisal Muhammed, speaking to News Guru from Brussels, expressed serious concern over former U.S. President Donald Trump’s unpredictable approach to foreign policy. He emphasized that the leader of a global superpower must exhibit strategic consistency, yet Trump’s frequent policy reversals — particularly on major conflicts — have created uncertainty.
Despite initial promises of ending wars, Trump has neither resolved the crises in Gaza nor the Ukraine conflict, and appears to be steering toward heightened tensions with Iran, signaling a troubling departure from his earlier anti-war stance.

Selective Outrage and Double Standards on Global Conflicts
Addressing the Russia-Ukraine war, Faisal criticized Trump’s apparent double standards. He pointed out Trump’s lack of a firm stance on Ukraine’s alleged assassination attempt on President Putin, while simultaneously blaming Russia for its countermeasures.
Meanwhile, Trump remains silent on the humanitarian crisis in Gaza, avoiding criticism of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu amid ongoing civilian casualties.
This selective outrage, Faisal noted, not only undermines moral authority but risks America’s diplomatic isolation and credibility in an increasingly multipolar world.
